Impact of Ozone (O3) Toward Health

Ozone has become an issue because the connection with an actual global effects of air pollution is the depletion of the ozone layer in the atmosphere above our earth. Ozone is an air pollutant or in the increasing concentration.
The impact of ozone on human health, namely:
§ With a concentration of 0.3 ppm for 8 hours will cause eye irritation.
§ 0.3 to 1 ppm for 3 minutes s.d. 2 hours will give a reaction such as choking, coughing, lethargy.
§ 1.5 to 2 ppm for two hours will result in chest pain coughing, headache, loss of coordination and difficult expressions and motion.
Ozone at a concentration of 0.3 ppm can cause irritation of the nose and throat. Contacts with ozone at a concentration of 1.0 to 3.0 ppm for 2 hours resulted in severe dizziness and kehilanan coordination in some people who snsitif. While contacts with the concentration of 9.0 ppm for some time can cause pulmonary endema on most people.
The combination of ozone with SO2 is very dangerous because it will cause a decrease in ventilation function when exposed to large quantities. Damage to ventilation function can return either near normal lung function in people exposed in the lower level.
